SPIRAL Impact Mission
Towards Traceable, Low Carbon, Nature-positive, & Inclusive Palm Oil.
Our SPIRAL (Small Producer Inclusivity & Resilience Alliance) programme began in 2020 as a grassroots initiative aiming to build a palm oil value-chain that was sustainable, traceable, and ensured smallholder inclusion in the global market.
Through partnerships and cooperation models that connect the value chain, our unified approach seeks to transform palm oil from the ground up — for small producers, for oil palm landscapes, and for the entire industry.
By working from the ground up — from individual oil palm farms to communities and out to mill supply regions — we are on track to bring 150,000 hectares under Sustainable Land Management by 2030.
Guided by our core philosophy, ‘Powered by People, Guided by Nature’, SPIRAL is creating a truly regenerative, inclusive, and resilient system to establish palm oil as a force for good.L
Impact Report 2025: Farm to Regional Landscapes
As we celebrate five years of impact in 2025, SPIRAL stands as a testament to the power of collective action.
What began in 2020 as a vision for a more equitable supply chain has evolved into a robust alliance of brand manufacturers, refiners, technology providers, and research institutions.
